Surveillance Camera is the 1st card and most popular of the 39 Clues cards.
"In the hunt for the 39 Clues, there are eyes watching everyone. The brilliant Ekaterina branch of the Cahill family has developed thousands of ways to track Clue hunters--including mini-cameras hidden everywhere. A button on a jacket can hide a camera, or the tip of a cane, or even an innocent-looking potted plant. You never know WHAT the Ekaterina branch has caught on film . . . or who.
Pass this card on to a friend--your friend will be able to add it to his or her online collection, too!"
This card is the only card that can be used multiple times by multiple users. Any other card can only be used once.
Top Secret Edit
The Top Secret tab shows three pictures. The pictures are blackened around the edges and have white crosses in the middle, showing they were taken from a security camera.
The first is a picture of a man wearing a trench coat and a hat. His back is turned, and he is walking in the streets of an unknown city.
The second is a picture of the man from a higher angle. It shows a lot more of the street, along with a woman walking behind the man. The tower with the clock is known as the Palazzo Vecchio.
The last photo is of the man facing the camera. It is shown that he has white hair and there is a woman behind him. It seems like they are meeting in a graveyard.
These are most probably photos of The Man in Black.
Question: Break the letter code! What three-letter word is 20-1-7?
The rest of the card says: TAG! YOU ARE IT. THIS IS A SURVEILLANCE CAMERA. TO MONITOR OTHER CAHILLS, PASS THE BUG ON.
This card, combined with Card 2, Card 3, Card 4, Card 5, and Card 6, forms the Clue Iron Solute.
